Welcome to HomeChoice North Somerset - North Somerset Council's way of allocating housing association properties for rent and shared ownership properties for sale. This scheme should give you more choice in deciding where you want to live.
Joining HomeChoice
If you wish to apply for housing please complete the on-line application form, or alternatively Contact Us for a paper application or help with bidding. Properties are advertised each week and you can then tell us which properties you are interested in. This process is known as bidding.
Updating your application
To update your HomeChoice Application with your new address or housing situation, please do not put a new full housing application in. Instead, please click Login/MyAccount above and use your 5 digit reference number to log in. Once logged in, click on "My Social Housing" on the left hand side of the page, and then on "Click Here to Update Your Details".

CHANGES TO SOCIAL HOUSING
The national government has introduced changes to social housing, which might affect people bidding on HomeChoice North Somerset. These may lead to different rent levels and tenancy terms for some people. We have written a Draft Tenancy Strategy, which explains these changes and how we hope housing providers will respond to them. We are consulting on this strategy now and would like your views.
